The wye globe valve is designed for high-pressure steam and water isolation. The design provides rapid closure and tight shutoff. Features and benefits: - Optimum performance under a wide range of operating conditions and environments - Y-pattern for lower pressure drop - Beveled seats for tight seating. - Large seat bore for reduced pressure drop - Optional patented thermal compensation device relieves the thrust load built up in the valve stem as the internal temperature rises, preventing failure of valve stem, actuator or both. - Optional forged body with stem-guided poppet
